![]() ![]() These components were conceived with the intention of using the Weaverbird plugin for subdivision, smoothing the mesh effects.All mesh(+) components are VB components and are fully modifiable.Once the files have been copied to the above location a new mesh(+) tab should appear in the Grasshopper component ribbon.All user objects have the prefix “m(+)” designating them as mesh(+) files.This is, the ease with which additional capabilities can be added as plug-ins. Then, it chooses the few paths that bound smaller loops. It's running on the edges and brute-force searching for closing faces around them. The algorithm I use does not really translate easily to cells, but works fairly well if faces move smoothly on the surface. Maybe there's something out there that I did not find either. I've looked a bit for some literature for generic faces finders, but could not find one that would fit my needs (including, for example, finding the mesh for the line-representation of a torus). Are you trying to fit a surface onto the points first, and then, ultimately, doing a planar search for bounding regions? The are papers for the latter part, but I wasn't very happy about them. Chimpanzee contains currently 90 components including strange attractors, map & oscillators, 4D hyperchaotic systems, iterated function systems (IFS) a fractals like Mandelbrot set or Julia set using escape time. I would be interested in hearing what exactly you mean by " the best one I have involves an underlying surface". Chimpanzee is a Grasshopper plug-in for Rhino 6, Rhino 7 and Rhino Mac written in C which focuses on fractal math and chaos theory. The plug in does not appear in the toolbar. NOTE: On most machines, you will need to restart Rhino for the Yak installation of WB to take effect' But restarting Rhino is not working.
